What else can be said of this West coast band who have grown up in front of millions of loyal fans. Their hay day of being a poor kickin' and screamin' trio with punk angst written all over them are still seen from time to time, but they have learned to channel their angst in a more sensible, vocal and ROCK OUT way.  Their repertoire of storytelling protest punk is so dramatic and anthemic it's now on Broadway. Their well inspiring hit musical "American Idiot"  has taken New York by storm and captured a cross over audience. But Green Day is also know to tell the truth without stage embellishment.
