Carrie Underwood Wins ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR at Country Music Awards

Singer Carrie Underwood made history at the Academy of Country Music Awards as she is the first female artist to win Entertainer of the Year twice. The 27-year-old previously won the honor in 2009 and picked it up again at this year's awards show. The American Idol star also won a special triple crown prize.

Underwood beat other artists including Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift. Taylor, 20, didn’t win any awards despite being nominated for five - but she gave an impressive performance of her song Change. Trio Lady Antebellum were presented with five awards.
